The steps that Karl goes through in this film are:

// Mixing the paint. // Painting the candy base coat. // Masking for the second colour. // Applying a soot pattern by 'candling' with an oxy torch. // Painting the second colour. // Partially removing masking tape. // Detail painting, including airbrushing. // Remove all masking tape.
